Dan Nowlan, Director

Dan Nowlan is co-head of CIBC’s equity capital markets, the department of the firm that handles stock underwriting for clients. He has executed numerous high profile transactions, including the initial public offerings for major companies.

Before joining CIBC World Markets in 2000, Nowlan was a Vice-President in the Investment Banking group at National Bank Financial.

He has also worked on Parliament Hill, where he served as a Special Assistant to the Canadian Minister of Industry, Science and Technology and the Minister for International Trade, as well as Special Assistant to the Minister of Human Resources and Labour.

Nowlan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mount Allison University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
